Communication Requests
Our Comms Team:
Almost all of our content creation is handled by a dedicated external team; Church Media Squad. Think of it as a full-service communications department working behind the scenes for Foundations. Our church specific the team includes a Brand Manager, Social Media Specialist, Videographers, Graphic Designers, and of course our in-house team members; each selected for their quality and alignment with our mission.
Because this team serves multiple projects simultaneously, every deliverable requires real collaboration between them and our in-house staff. That process is what ensures every graphic, video, document, print piece, or merch item is intentional, on-brand, and built to move people toward a next step.
The cost savings of this model come with a time cost. Please plan intentionally.

Turnaround Times:
These timelines begin the day a completed Communications Request is submitted.
Merch takes three weeks. Graphics and videos each take two weeks. These are not estimates — they are the minimum time needed to do the work well.

A Complete Request Is a Prerequisite:
An incomplete Communications Request does not move forward. Every field exists for a reason, and missing information creates gaps that slow down or derail the entire process. A few examples of what incomplete looks like in practice:
No end date means we have no way to build a promotion timeline or integrate the event properly into our systems.
No location means facilities coordination and communication partnerships cannot be confirmed.
No clear audience means graphics, copy, and messaging cannot be targeted effectively.
No next step means there is nothing to build the communication around.
The form is not a formality. It is the foundation of everything that follows.

Before We Can Launch:
Back-end work including event registrations, website integration, and weekend announcements cannot begin until all finalized files have been delivered. Chris, Dave, and EJ begin implementation only after assets are approved and in hand.
Most Important Note
We love you. We really do. But we will not be accepting smoke signals, Slack messages, hallway ambushes, sticky notes on our monitors, interpretive dance, or carrier pigeons as official communication requests. Not even if the pigeon is very convincing.
The Communications Request form is the one and only way to get the ball rolling on any graphic, video, email, event promo, or print piece. No form, no project. It's not personal, it's just how we keep things moving at the standard our mission deserves.

Thank You:
We know this process asks a lot. Deadlines, forms, timelines, approvals, none of it feels glamorous. But every piece of it exists because we believe the people we are trying to reach deserve our best. Someone is going to encounter Foundations for the first time through something your ministry produces. A graphic, an announcement, an event. That moment matters.
Thank you for caring enough to do this well. The extra preparation, the completed forms, the lead time; it all adds up to a church that communicates with clarity and intention. And clarity is what moves people toward Jesus.
We are in this together, and we do not take lightly the trust you place in this process. Let's make it count.
